COMPANY PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Korea Water Technology Inc. Overview
The non-metallic chain and flight sludge scraper is driven by a power unit that transmits torque through the drive sprocket and chains, rotating the underwater main drive shaft and the non-metallic chain and flight assembly. This mechanism enables the sludge flights to perform a reciprocating rotary motion, scraping sludge along the tank bottom from one end of the clarifier to the other. The collected sludge is then conveyed either to a sludge pit at the far end of the tank or into multiple perforated sludge collection troughs located along the tank bottom, from where it is discharged through sludge outlet pipes.
The non-metallic chain and flight sludge scraper mainly consists of the following components:
1.Drive system
2.Drive shaft with sprockets
3.Upper guide rail assembly
4.Lower guide rail assembly
5.Non-metallic chain assembly
6.Flight (scraper) assembly
7.Directional wheels
8.Electrical control cabinet
1.Lightweight structure with low energy consumption during operation
2.Multiple flights ensure high sludge scraping capacity
3.Slow scraper movement minimizes sludge disturbance,
promoting effective sedimentation
4.Diversified scraper designs adaptable to various tank widths
5.High wear resistance of components ensures long service life
6.Return flights also function as scum skimmers, eliminating the need for separate scum removal devices
7.Unique non-metallic materials suitable for various types of wastewater

The drive sprocket (shaft) system primarily consists of the drive shaft,
drive and idler sprockets, driving sprocket, bearing housings,
and wall-mounted support plates.
The shaft diameter can be customized based on different load
conditions to accommodate various operational requirements.
The directional wheel assembly mainly consists of idler sprockets,
bearing housings, and support brackets. Depending on the tank configuration,
bearing housings of varying lengths and load capacities can be customized,
ensuring long-term stable operation under submerged conditions.
The non-metallic chain is injection-molded from glass fiber reinforced nylon,
with a pitch of approximately 150 mm. Scraper flights are installed at
intervals of 3 to 4.5 meters. The minimum breaking strength of a single-strand
conveyor chain exceeds five times the maximum operating tension.
The scraper flights are injection-molded from thermoplastic reinforced fiberglass,
providing enhanced transverse and longitudinal rigidity. Each flight is structurally
strong along its entire length, ensuring no deformation occurs under high sludge
scraping resistance.
The chain links are injection-molded from glass fiber reinforced nylon,
with a tensile strength of 35 kN.
The wear shoes are designed for dual-sided use; once one side is worn, they can be reinstalled by flipping to utilize the other side.
Applicable to: sludge scraping and scum skimming in clarifiers,
or sand scraping and scum skimming in grit chambers.
Applicable to: sludge scraping in clarifiers or sand scraping in grit chambers without inclined tubes or media installed, and without scum skimming function.
Applicable to: tank types with covered surfaces due to the installation of inclined tubes or other reasons,
and without scum skimming function.
Applicable to: dual-layer process clarifiers or tank types where the scum skimming direction must
align with the sludge scraping direction.
Commercialized the world's first drum-type electro osmosis dehydrator and
world's No. 1 company in electro osmosis dehydration technology.
